Returns & Cancellations
Returns

For Standard items and Made to Order (not custom pieces, item will be listed as Made to Order in item description) items the buyer has 14 days from your parcels arrival to request your return to me. Returns of Custom Orders (particularly those made with the customers seaglass) will require a discussion before returning to decide if this is possible, at my discretion, as these can not simply go back to resale.

The buyer is responsible for shipping their return within 7 days of receiving acceptance of the return from me, anything outside of this will not be accepted. Seaglass by Becca will deduct any import tax and duty if an international return is sent to us.

Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable.

​Seaglass by Becca is not responsible for any additional return shipping costs or customs and duties reimbursement.

Please note items marked in the SALE are non-refundable.

Earrings WILL NOT be refunded due to hygiene reasons.​

Once I have received your return, it will be processed as quickly as possible. Please allow 7 working days from the date of your return being received and processed for the refund to credit your original method of payment.

Seaglass by Becca reserves the right to refuse any returns which do not meet our return policy requirements.

Item must be returned in original condition and in original packaging.

Any item that is returned in a damaged, dirty, used or deteriorated state will not be refunded and will be sent back, at customers cost, to the sender.

Should the customer′s chosen courier fail to deliver or lose their return parcel, it is the customer′s responsibility to claim compensation from their chosen Courier directly. Seaglass by Becca is not liable for any lost returns.
Cancellations

Seaglass by Becca reserves the right to cancel an order if your jewellery cannot be delivered to your area.

You can cancel your order within 12 hours of ordering, buyer is responsible for making requests within this timeframe. If I have already posted the item then you will need to return the item at your own cost within 3 days of delivery, refund will be withheld until item is returned.

Cancellation of a Custom order will require a discussion, particularly if you have sent me some of your own seaglass so we can arrange getting it back to you etc.

Repairs

If there is an occasion when jewellery may need repairing due to excessive wear or damage outside of the 2 month guarantee, I offer a high quality, value for money, repair service if the piece of jewellery is in a repairable state.

I charge a minimal starting flat fee of between £5-£10 per item (depending on size of job, decided at my discretion) then further costs will depend on the alteration and work involved. The fee will cover costs for extra materials and time. Each job will be priced accordingly. We can discuss this before you commit to the service.

Loss of an item does not warrant a free return/replacement, however if you have lost one earring from a pair we can discuss replacing just the one for less than the original price of the pair, subject to availability.

Ring Resizing

In the case of ordering an item of jewellery in the wrong size, Seaglass by Becca offers a re-sizing service.

Unless I have stated otherwise, I charge a minimal fee of £5.00 per item however there may be further costs depending on the alteration and work involved. The fee will cover costs for extra materials and time. Each job will be priced accordingly.

​If you require an alteration, including ring resizing or anything else, you can contact me for an estimate.

Standard (not custom) rings that are the wrong size may be returned within the 14 day window from being delivered, (whether you wish for an alternation or just a return) see Returns section.

Custom rings that are ordered in the wrong size do not count as a manufacturing error, please see the information above.
Manufacturing Faults vs. Wear and Tear

Goods are classified as faulty if they are received damaged (notify me as soon as item is received), or where a manufacturing fault occurs within 2 months of purchase. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.

All damaged returns will be subject to an inspection before a suggested course of action can be discussed, they must be returned in same condition as you received them and in the original packaging. Proof of purchase will be required and the item may need to be returned to me prior to any action being taken, depending on the item itself.

If you’re unsure whether your item is damaged due to a manufacturing fault or wear and tear, just get in touch with me with a photo of the damaged goods and I will be able to help you out!

Generally if you have had the item for more than 30 days and it has broken as a result of wearing, e.g. a chain snapping, then this is classed as wear and tear. Furthermore, damage caused by misuse or mistreatment of the product also counts as wear and tear and is not returnable. Repairs are possible however, see Repairs section.

I will process your refund as soon as possible after receiving the returned faulty product from you and confirming the reported fault, and within 7 business days.

If you wish me to repair any damage caused by wear and tear (not manufacturing faults) this comes under the Repair service clause below.

If I accept and agree to exchanging a faulty item (at my own discretion), please be aware that I can only replace it for the same product subject to availability. Where possible, I will offer to repair faulty items.​

All prices displayed on my website will be viewed as correct, except in cases of obvious error. These prices exclude delivery charges which will be applied upon checkout where applicable.
